PORTOROZ, SLOVENIA — There are worse places to talk about enterprise software. The Adriatic Sea shimmers just beyond the terrace of the Grand Hotel Bernardin, a light coastal breeze cuts through the May heat, and somewhere inside, around a thousand people are genuinely excited about Dynamics 365, Power Platform and AI. Welcome to DynamicsMinds 2026.

The conference, held May 25–27 in Portoroz, Slovenia, is now in its fourth year and has grown into one of the most anticipated community gatherings on the Microsoft Business Applications calendar. Dedicated to all corners of the BizApps universe, the event covers Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance & Operations, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Customer Engagement, and more — with a Partner BizTrack and a "Fifth Track" rounding out the program for good measure.

The Grand Hotel Bernardin sits directly on the sea, between the historic towns of Portoroz and Piran, with inspiring views that give you the feeling of floating above the sea. The hotel's congress center — the largest in Slovenia — means even the breakout sessions come with panoramic windows overlooking the endless blue. On a clear day, the Croatian coastline is visible just across the water — close enough that you could almost skip a stone to it. This is not your average convention center.

This year's event expects more than 1,000 attendees, 200+ sessions, and 190+ speakers converging on what the organizers have always described as a community gathering first, a conference second. That philosophy is easy to feel on the ground. Conversations in the hallways run just as deep as the ones happening on stage.

OnlyCopilotFans is on-site as a media sponsor this year, and the energy on Day 1 is hard to miss.

Microsoft Partner Day

Day 1 also plays host to the Microsoft Partner Day, an event-within-the-event headlined by Cecilia Flombaum, Ecosystem Leader for Business & Industry Solutions at Microsoft, Swamy Narayana, Microsoft Vice President, Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Program, and Jannik Bausager, Microsoft Pricincipal Group Program Manager for Business Central, and other notable channel heavyweights.

The Keynote

The main stage session at 16:30 set the tone for the entire event. Georg Glantschnig toom the stage for "Agentic ERP, Engaged: Charting the Next Frontier" — and if the title alone does not tell you where Microsoft's ERP vision is headed, the session will. Glantschnig serves as Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, leading end-to-end product strategy, development, and operations for Dynamics 365's AI ERP applications — including Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Project Operations, and Human Resources.

Alongside him, the Business Central faithful had plenty to look forward to. Jannik Bausager talked about Business Central's 55,000 customers across 242 countries and regions. Jannik and Aleksandar Totovic are both on-site, including for a dedicated Q&A session billed as "Q&A with the Flight Astronauts from the Business Central Spaceship." Jannik serves as Principal Group Program Manager for Dynamics 365 Business Central at Microsoft, while Aleksandar is Principal Product Manager.

Georg, Jannik and Aleksandar's presence at this event shows that this is clearly an event and a region that matters to Microsoft.

And then there is Dona Sarkar. Chief Troublemaker for Microsoft AI and Copilots, Sarkar brought the kind of energy to the keynote stage that makes people put their phones down — which, at a tech conference, is genuinely no small feat.

The Keynote Reveal: ClawPilot

During the keynote, Dona and Georg talked about a brand-new member of the Copilot family: ClawPilot. Dona promised a major announcement and reveal of ClawPilot - currently being tested by 3,000 people internally at Microsoft - at 10 AM next Tuesday, June 2nd. Mark your calendars, friends!

The Agenda

Sessions span six tracks, with more than 200 expert speakers — MVPs, community icons, and Microsoft representatives covering Agentic AI, Finance & Operations, Business Central, Customer Engagement, Power Platform, a Fifth Track, and the Partner BizTrack. Whether your world is supply chain, CRM, low-code automation, or AI agents, the schedule has something with your name on it.

The Evenings

If the days belong to the sessions, the evenings belong to the promenade. As in years past, two electrifying parties are planned to complement the conference program, and both are set along the beach-walk promenade that hugs the Adriatic just steps from the hotel. The awards ceremony — recognizing standout contributors from across the community — follows on the second evening, with the sea as its backdrop. In previous years, the award ceremony has been described as an evening filled with energy and networking, celebrating the passionate individuals who make the community what it is. Expect this year to deliver the same.

Mira Razman, the heart and driving force behind DynamicsMinds, put it simply:

"Year and year again I am amazed at how beautiful the Dynamics 365 & Power Platform community is! It's always an emotional experience for me when we all gather!"

Four years in, DynamicsMinds has found a rhythm that is hard to manufacture: genuine community ownership of an event that just keeps getting bigger. Stay tuned on our LinkedIn channel for more coverage and updates from the conference floor over the next three days — sessions, conversations, and whatever else the Adriatic coast inspires.
