A note before we begin: I almost never write articles in the first person. My preference has always been to let the content speak for itself and keep my own voice in the background. I am making an exception here because this launch represents something genuinely significant for OnlyCopilotFans.com — not just as a website, but as a brand and a media outlet with a clear direction. Some milestones deserve to be acknowledged by the person who lived them. This is one of those.
OnlyCopilotFans.com originally launched in November 2024 as a hope and a dream. Almost a year and a half later on May 17, 2026, the website is being re-launched with a full overhaul of the UI, design, features and the underlying technology, with the goal of upgrading the user experience.
For starters, it now loads in 74 milliseconds, down from 1,364; it earned a perfect 100/100 security score, and most remarkably, I built it all in five calendar days (and sleepless nights) using an agentic AI coding platform. And I did this during a week where I was traveling to Vietnam to speak at Directions ASIA. I did it on planes, in lounges, at the hotel room, sometimes between sessions, and at least one night that involved no sleep at all.
What you are seeing here is not a theme change. It is a ground-up rebuild, and it reflects exactly where this publication is going.
A Statement of Intent
OnlyCopilotFans.com has historically covered Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and I was the sole content author. Experimentally, I also had a couple of fully AI-written articles (with disclosure, of course).
Going forward, this will no longer be an 'AJ-only site'. A major reason for the overhaul was to create a site where we could easily welcome more writers and contributors from our community of Microsoft MVPs and subject-matter experts. Each contributor and their content will be easily discoverable, and we will now be able to support content in 10 different languages. We will also expand the scope of what we cover, adding Copilot Cowork and AI Governance as key categories.
To put it plainly: OnlyCopilotFans is a professional media outlet, not a hobby project. My vision is for this publication to become a go-to destination for all-things related to Copilot Studio and Copilot within 12 months. The new site is built to support that, and our YouTube video content will continue to play an important part in this journey. And most importantly, content on OnlyCopilotFans.com will always remain free.
Built Like a Professional Product
In my day job as COO of DSWi (a separate business with no relation to - or control over OnlyCopilotFans), I regularly work alongside professional marketing, SEO and web design agencies. I see how they go about the process of creating a new website, building brand assets and optimizing content.
Over the last few months, I have spent countless hours documenting these processes so I could take the same approach while using Agentic AI tools for my startup brands like OnlyCopilotFans that are operating on a very limited budget and cannot afford the services of human professionals.
First, I applied these principles towards building websites and assets for my CxO-focused AI decision framework, the AI Clarity Method and for the Copilot Studio Saturdays community. Through these experiences, I have learned a lot about the capabilities and limitations of Agentic coding tools, UI/UX and more.
On this journey, before a single line of code was written, I started with defining what the brand stood for, building a formal brand guide, selecting font families, and whiteboarding user journeys for visitors, contributors, and admins. Then it was planning the UI, layout, writing copy and building mockups. Only after that groundwork was complete did development begin. And from the very beginning, the focus was on creating a high-performing and SEO-friendly site.
For anyone wondering which agentic coding platform I used: it is Abacus AI. Over the course of five calendar days, we (my Abacus AI agent and I) generated over 85 builds of features, testing, and iterating across scenarios and devices. By the time the new website went live on Sunday, I had spent well over 30 hours of human time orchestrating this project, and spent $350+ hard cost in tokens.
If one was to map this scope as a formal project plan, it represents the output of an 8 person team — a UI/UX Designer, a Frontend Developer, a Backend Developer, a Full-Stack Developer (i18n), a DevOps Specialist, an SEO specialist, a QA Tester, and a Project Manager — working for five to eight weeks.
This project was not like the AI hype content on YouTube or LinkedIn. This wasn't a website made with one single magic prompt, or even some cookie-cutter series of prompts. I can't even count how many prompts were involved from the beginning to the end. And as you can surmise, Agentic AI did not replace the thinking, the planning, or the judgment. What it did best was compressing the time it took to do what it would have taken a team of up to 8 humans.

Design, Navigation, and Accessibility
The visual direction draws on design cues from Engadget.com and other leading news publications like CNN. The result is a modern gradient design system, improved typography, and a cleaner visual hierarchy that makes it immediately clear what to read first.
Full responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile was a core requirement from day one — verified across device types. Accessibility met the same standard: WCAG AA color contrast site-wide, and a skip-to-content feature for keyboard and assistive technology users.
Multi-Language Support
The site supports 10 languages with full UI translation, including RTL for Arabic. Every article is available in any supported language via on-demand AI translation. When you are reading a translated version, the site clearly displays the original language and explicitly discloses that AI translation was used. No guessing about what you are reading or where it came from.
Right now, we only have content written natively in English. But native content in more languages is on the way: Spanish and Portuguese articles written by local experts will be among the first additions, with more to come.
Built to Be Found: SEO and AI Discoverability
The site is built to be found by search engines and by the LLMs and AI agents that increasingly shape how content gets discovered. Canonical tags, JSON-LD structured data, clean H1 hierarchy, and optimized meta tags handle the search engine side. An llms.txt file, active AI crawler management, and Markdown-formatted content handle the AI side.
If an AI agent is out there summarizing the best resources on Copilot Studio, Copilot, Cowork and AI Governance, I want OnlyCopilotFans.com in that answer.
Security, Privacy, and Compliance
The site earned a 100/100 security score, with HSTS, Content Security Policy, and X-Frame-Options protection all active. GDPR-compliant cookie consent, clear data handling policies, and user privacy controls are built in throughout. WCAG AA compliance applies to the full site, not selected pages.
Community, Partners, and Contributors
The redesign introduces dedicated sections to celebrate our Advertisers and Sponsors, and an Events showcase to highlight conferences where OnlyCopilotFans is an official media partner. This will make it easy for our sponsors to reach our audience and vice-versa.
It was also very important to celebrate our writers by making Contributor profiles easy to discover, and to ensure we have cleaner attribution, and better visibility.
The OnlyCopilotFans Content Manager
Running behind the site is a custom-built CMS I designed specifically for this publication. The OnlyCopilotFans Content Manager replaces the previous WordPress backend with a modern editorial platform covering articles, media, contributors, and site-wide settings from a single dashboard. Authentication is passwordless via OTP email.
